Photos:Protesting Footballers sleep at the front gate of Rivers State government house.

Footballers from dolphin fc,sharks fc and rivers angels(the female clubside of rivers state),have staged a prostest  over unpaid allowances which has reportedly spanned over 2 years.Some of the players slept at the entrance of the state governmenet house ,as they came prepared with mattrasses and other bare essentials to
pass the night with.
The players lament on how they have been totally neglected by the authorities saddled with the responsibilities of overseeing their welfare,some have borrowed huge sumsof money from freinds and relatives just to survive the uneasy times they have been facing for over a year now.
They just cant play on empty stomachs ,can they?
