Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Saturday visited his son, Lt Colonel Adeboye Obasanjo, at his private residence along Wase Road, Jos Plateau State.
Adeboye had just recuperated from an injury sustained during a military campaign to recover Michika from Boko Haram in Adamawa State. left the hospital for his father’s residence in Jos on Thursday afternoon after he was certified fit for discharge by his doctor.
His father, who was abroad during the incident, had just returned to the country and needed to see his son.
However, the former President, who was earlier expected to arrive Yakubu Gowon Airport at about 1pm did not arrive until late evening. The Special Task Force (STF) and other security agents on the Plateau had sent troops to receive him by 1 pm. [Thisday]
